Hi Jim, I am a decendant of Robert R. Mannan, he was my great great grandfather. His son John William was my great grandfather. I have been to Cloverdale, IN. and visited the Mannan Cemetary there. I also had contact with some Mannans there. I have some geneological information on the Mannan clan from Indiana also though a distant cousin of ours from Oklahoma City. His name is Dave Mannan. My cousin Anna (Mannan) Hindman and her husband Jim gave me info on this website. Her father and mine were brothers and grandsons of John W. There father and my grandfather's name was Claude whom I am named after. It looks like you have done a great job with this web site. I haven't had a chance to go over everything yet. I'm Jim Hindman husband of Anna Mae (Mannan) Hindman, Daughter of Olen Claude Mannan, The son of Claude Otie Mannan the son of J. W. Mannan (Possibly John William). J.W. was a farmer, Blacksmith, Carpenter, and Ran a grist Mill near Hackett, Arkansas. H ve book "Daily Heavenly Manna for the Household of Faith" from 1915 with other Mannan's and dates. Could not find a connection to the Arkansas Mannans.
