We bought our house in July 1998, needless to say it was a real fixer-upper!!! We basically gutted the entire house and worked non-stop for four months before we moved in.

It's hard to tell from a picture but here are the outside changes: obviuosly the big pine tree was cut down, the house was painted, new roof, 14 tons of topsoil added to front lawn, new tree planted, new shutters, flower beds planted, shrubs removed and trimmed, new brick retaining wall and steps straightened and reset.

The deck was added in the summer of 2000. We really enjoy spending time out on the deck. With the awning it's almost like having another room.
