Growing Up
I was born one beautiful day on the 21 of May of 1978 in Kings County
Hospital in Brooklyn, New York....of course, I was a delight to all the
nurses in the hospital during those first few days of my life on
Earth...hahaha....I was the first child to my parents, Miriam and Max, and
we all lived in Brooklyn at that time....shortly after my parents moved to
Inwood, Long Island to live with my uncle in his house.
My parents divorced when I was around five years old and by this time my younger
sister Dianna was born, two years after me....the three of us moved to Queens and I have lived there ever since. During this time I attended
PS104 and later went to St. Mary's Star of the Sea School....I guess you could say
that I was somewhat boy-crazy in my youth (yeah like i'm so old now!!)...I think I
had a pretty nice childhood though I would've liked to have had a mother who was
less strict than she was....I really did get in trouble when I did something as
innocent as talk a lot in class...go figure!!
