We as a music group for The Lord and, even more importantly as His children,want you to know how you can have the eternal assurance of eternal life through Jesus Christ. If you are not 100% sure of where you will spend eternity when you leave this earth, then let us show you the way!
First, you must realize that you are a sinner. The Bible says that all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. (Romans 3:23) The penalty for sin is death. Jesus paid that penalty for all on Calvary. (Romans 6:23) However, in order to be saved and have eternal life, you must confess that you are a sinner, trust in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross, ask Him to forgive you and to come into your heart as Lord and Savior. (Romans 10:9-10)
Friend, you can have this assurance of eternal life with Jesus and missing Hell right now, this very moment. If you would like to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, just pray this prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I know that without you I am headed for a Christless eternity. I trust you now as my Savior and ask that you forgive me of all of my sins and come into my heart. Thank you for saving me and I ask also that the power of your Holy Spirit will strengthen me to be the best Christian that I can be for you. Amen"
If you prayed that prayer and meant it with all of your heart, then you can rest assured that you are saved for all eternity. Now that you are saved, go tell somebody and share Jesus with all who you know!
