EASY WAY (ABOUT ONE HOUR AND 15 MINUTES)

Take I-85 north for about 12 miles

Then take I-26 west.

After about 10-15 minutes, take HWY 11 South towards Campobello

After about 45 minutes, turn Right on to hwy 276.

Go about 5 miles up the winding road to Cliff Ridge on the right. Turn and proceed to gate.

Enter code at gate (don't forget pound sign (#) before number)

Turn right

Pass the sign for the Club House on left (Rhododendron St). Turn left on to Mountain Laurel Dr immediately after - it sneaks up on you quickly.

Follow Mountain Laurel Dr straight until the end. It will feel like you are driving into a driveway or the forest - don't worry.

The Burge Nest is the last house on the end of the street - poking out on to the cliff

ANOTHER WAY (about one hour--you might want to consult your map for this one)

Take I-85 South for a couple of minutes

Then take exit for SC 14 North. You will go through the town of Greer (homeplace of Burgess ancestors).

When you get to SC 11, go left (north or west).

Follow SC 11 until you get to 276. Turn right (north) and proceed for about 20 minutes until you get to the Cliff Ridge development.

Turn right
