Her recent accomplishments are reading and figuring out math fact families with Brian and telling time. Boy, is she hard to keep up with.
She enjoyed going to her daycare, but was more than excited to become an after-schooler and attend Kindergarten.
True to form of a typical(?) 5 year old, Alison insists on doing everything that she sets her mind to (okay, typical for a child born to Keith and Kathleen) and sometimes thinks she is the boss. She is very stubborn and bull headed and completely independent (so unlike her parents -- for those of you how know them - you know that is a complete joke. Especially for those who know Kathleen and her independence).
Keith is Alison's favorite toy (she says,"MY DAD!" quite often), aside from Brian ("My Brian"), then Mom. The look on her face when Keith walks through the door is priceless. They are buddies. She will not go to sleep right away unless Keith goes to her room and snuggles after Kathleen puts her to bed. She and Daddy have a ritual, which is so precious. As for Brian, they are great playmates. She has learned to be just as rough with him as he is with her, if not more so. But....don't mess with "Her Brian" for she will have to come unglued.
