I connected to your home page via your GEDCOM file searching for surname Rosney. I have recorded in my files James T Rosney m. Bridgitte Moran & births of their children including Catherine b.1/16/1861. These records I attained from PA 1900 census & St. Anne's parish records in Philadelphia. My GGrandfather was James Francis Rosney son of Martin Rosney also members of St. Anne's. I can't confirm a connection to your James but feel strongly that they may be cousins. Hope to share info. Thank You, Vince

I believe I might be a distant relative. My Grandmother's maiden name was Brennan and her mother's maiden name was either Conner or O'Conner. She lived in Shenandoah, PA. Any thoughts? Sean Downey

Elizabeth: Just checking back under our new screen name/email address. Still searching for those elusive Brennans. Am now trying to find the parents of that John Brennan who died 1905 in William Penn. According to his military records he was born in P iladelphia and had a brother, Joseph - and death records state his father was Tim?/Tom? (possibly the brother of our Ferdy). It's never ending........ God bless! Will keep you posted......

I contacted you earlier this year regarding Thomas Brennan Born 1808 Ireland and wife Mary. Further research of these Brennans and their children on your site, leads me to believe Thomas and Mary may be my gg grandparents. Their son Timothy born 1845 cou d be my great grandfather. I will have to check 1860 Plymouth Pa cenus records to see if the family was in Plymouth or in Schuylkill.I have my grandparents on the 1870 Plymouth cenus and I would also like to view the 1850 Schuylkill cenus.Do you have any uggestions for me regarding my research of the Brennans in Schuylkill? Thanks for a great Brennan site. Peggy Williams

Great website, I'm reseaching my family history and have found a Murphy from Schuylkill County. My Grand Mother was Ambrosine Cecelia Murphy born on April 26, 1885 in New Philadelphia, Pa. her Father was John C. Murphy born in Pa. and her Mother was Maria Naughton born in Maryland. I have a copy of her death certificate, she died in Portland Or. in 1926 giving birth to my Dad Ambrose Edward Griffin.

Hi Elizabeth: Just surfing the internet trying to locate anything I can on Murphy's/Franey's. Seen there was a McAvoy, and a James Murphy on your listings. My great uncle, Tmomas Murphy, son of Hugh and Julia Murphy, was brn 4/18/1890 in Colorado, Girardville, PA. Thomas was baptised at St. Joseph's in Girardville on 4/27/1890, and his sponsors were: James Murphy and Anna McAvoy. I don't know if this assi ts you. But, thought I'd send it anyway. Also, it could be an ndication that James Murphy, was brother to my great grandfather, Hugh Murphy. Take care, and hope to har from you in the future. Have a good weekend if we don't get snowed in again. Mike Murphy Alexandria, VA mimurphy@erols.com

What information do you have on your Barbara Shula? The approximate timing could be about right. I don't have a "Barbara", but that line is not complete at all. So any possible connections can be checked out. If there is a connection, her father would be artin Shula and her mother Anna Sindelar. They were married in Wisconsin between 1855 and 1862, had a daughter, Mary, there then hjad a son, Frank, in St. Joseph, MO. That's all I know now, but am still digging. Dave
