Is responsible for organizing and coordinating all aspects of both the Meals-on-Wheels programs and commitments to the Branford Soup Kitchen.

Civic (Special Programs)
Organizes and coordinates any special community event in which Newcomers participates including the Thanksgiving Food Drive, Christmas Toy Drive, Adopt-a-Family program and the American Cancer Society Daffodil Days. This position also makes recommendations regarding the disbursement of funds for charity or for community projects.

Publishes the Club's monthly newsletter. Prepares the ballot for elections and prints all forms for Club activities.

Hospitality
Makes arrangements for and sets up the refreshments at general meetings. Recruits volunteers to prepare appetizers and desserts and follows up with those who have signed up. Purchases supplies for hospitality and is responsible for storage of those supplies. In charge of Sunshine Committee which arranges food to be brought to new mothers and those with "special needs." This includes surgery, loss of family member, etc.

Membership/2nd Vice President
Covers all aspects of caring for the members. Is responsible for keeping the membership roster up to date; obtains names of new residents and invites them to participate in the Club's activities. Organizes new member coffees.

Presides at all meetings of the Club. Appoints chairwomen of special interest committees that she deems necessary. Serves as ex-officio member of all committees except the Board Selection Committee. Pays bills approved by the Executive Committee in the absence of the Treasurer.
