Past projects:

Orca Whale Intarsia
I made this for my dad. It was my first intarsia project, and one of my first projects on my scroll saw.

Swing Set
After trying in vain to keep the metal swing set attached to the ground, we finally decided to build a wooden swingset & bury the bottom 3 feet in the ground. If that doesn't stay attached to the ground, nothing will!

Woven Scarf
I wove a plaid scarf for Dani. I matched the colors to her kilt. It's a bit bulkier than I'd intended, but it's very soft. I am very pleased with how well it turned out. I hadn't woven anything in over 10 years and I had problems with my loom. It actually broke in the middle of making the scarf, so I had to take it apart and fix it before I could finish.

Tree Wall Hanging
I made this wall hanging for Rob for Christmas 2006. I carved the tree as a out of a seperate piece of Walnut. I created the initial tree shape using my scroll saw, and then used my chisels & rotary tool to do the bulk of the carving. I got the idea for making it after seeing one made of some plaster-looking material in a magazine. The text says "Grow old along with me the best is yet to be".

Wood Puzzles
I made the first ones for my kids, but since then have made a few more for one of my nephews.
