Such a sad word...comes in many forms. You could be single living alone, you could have a family and full house, you could be a child in a full school but you could all still be lonely.

It's so sad to see all the loneliness in the world. So many people out there in need of a kind word a hug, a smile, someone to just pick them up and make them see they are not alone Just think how good you could feel if  you offered someone this kindness.

It would only take a few moments of your time. We all have hectic lives,  somewhere to be, a hundred and one things that need to be done. But they  will still be there, so why not extend that hand to someone who is in need.  You could save them and not realize how much you have truly done for them.

So if you see someone, offer them a smile, offer them help no matter how small. Say hello to that stranger next to you. They could be a lonely person. Help the elderly you see in the supermarket aisle next to you. It may be the only kind word they get  that day.

Join
RAOK, in our combat against loneliness. We have put together this page to help all  become more aware of what is around them. And perhaps if we all reach out a hand in time all the loneliness will slowly go away.

As the song says, One is the loneliest number...and as we say... two can go along way.

Take away the gloom and add some sunshine into someone's life!!
