The Auction fundraiser for Reunion 2001, netted approximately $450.
The original artwork by R.E. Parsons brought in $60, and now hangs proudly
in the home of George and Leah Micklatcher and Luella Smith in Florida.
Thanks to everyone who donated these special items, and to everyone else
who kept the bidding competitive. Rafiki found a new home in Michigan
and we hope he'll return to North Carolina in three years..
My sister Linda is still working on putting together a Memory Book for
Luella Smith. The idea is to fill an empty scrapbook with photos and stories.
Please think about including your photos and written stories and memories
of the past with Luella. To contribute,
just e-mail Barb Parfitt your story,
or snail mail copies of photos. We'll make sure they are included.
Janet Bass Smith passed along the official Smith Reunion
Photo Album to Barb with the responsibilty of filling its pages with
photos of our most recent reunion. PLEASE...anyone who has
photos of the event send copies to Barb! Send an e-mail
for the address.
The last photo on this page is of the descendents of Alvin and Helen (Green) Smith,
from left, Larry Smith, Elaine & Pat Dominic, Linda & Bob Smith.
Larry brought his radio-controlled model helicopter to the reunion
and gave a marvelous demonstration on the baseball field nearby.
It was nice seeing you in
Amish Country!!
