The Siegesäule on New Year's Eve. The first and last sunny day we had there.
This is how I entered the New Year, the 2K year, with no fear, in Berlin. I was there for four days with the Austrian army . Well not exactly but to me it seemed so, all alone with 13 Austrians. Did I say that they were really nice Austrians? I had a great time with them and I hope they've seen my photos of the trip!
We were escaping the classical concert on the Siegesäule, and here we are on our way to Brandenburg Tor. A big Riesenrad was waiting for us.
After the 12 o'clock beat! I really don't feel like discussing if we've entered the new Millenium or just the year in between. Personaly it was just that the old one turned into a better and improved one . What you see behind us (Markus, Karin and ... help?) is not the moon, but an imitaion.
Isn't it lovely!! New love! (Should I tell you that they were two guys?) Opps!!
Nothing can make you happier on a grey Berliner day than the orange cows!
So this was Berlin!
