*Leopard AHR*233 Grey Stallion 1873
According to Randolph Huntington (who used the horse as a
sire) and Carl Raswan, the breeder
of *Leopard was Jidan Ibn Mhayd of the Fid'an, who had presented
him to Sultan Abdul Hamid II.
He was then given as a gift to President U.S. Grant in 1879. Raswan
lists a Kuhaylan-Ras El-Fidawi
as his sire and a siqlawi-Jidraniyahas his dam.
