We, at present, have a membership of a hundred and forty two Hunters living is some 32 states, three in Canada and a few in England.

The Brotherton Hunters endeavors to:

(1) Serve as the collecting point for data on the various lines of Brothertons.

(2) Eliminate the need for duplicate research by making connections for our members who have ancestors in common.

(3) Make available Brotherton information to those who wish it.

That sounds like a big task but we are constantly achieving our objectives. We now have over 15,500 individuals in our data bank that are either Brothertons or relatives of Brothertons. These in our data base have been separated and connected into about 32 individual lines ( it keeps changing)and we continually break through and make additional connections as we go along.

The only requirement to become a "Brotherton Hunter" is that, one has an interest in connecting to a Brotherton Line! We are a "no dues no fees" group. Just send us your family data and we will check your Brotherton relatives to see if we have any of your "cousins" among our membership data! Send us your families, starting with yourself and going as far back as you can connect regardless of surnames. Just connect yourself through a Brotherton Someway, that is all we need to know.

We started performing this service in 1991 and are still continuing to make new connections for Brothertons and their relatives.

Someone said that we must be striving to get our members back to Adam & Eve Brotherton, and they may be right! If we can be of service to you, we will be very happy to answer any questions that you may have, check your family material for cousins, or any other way we can be of help.
