The Vignati surname originated in the province of Milano in Italy, being traced back to the 17th century. In the 19th century parts of this family emigrated to the United States and Brazil. They came from cities as Besnate, Canegrate, Legnano and Robecco Sul Naviglio.

In BRAZIL Carlo Vignati and Alesandrina Cavestri, with their sons Carlo and Enrico Vignati left Robecco Sul Naviglio in 1892 going to Brazil.
