I also descend from the Glass family, Manson GLASS b. abt 1783-84 VA. died 1869 Clayton Co. Ga. He is buried on Manson Glass Ct in the middle of a cul-de-sac in the subdivision in Clayton Co. Ga.. He is the son of William Glass & Sara Hodges, Sara is the daughter of James Hodges & Rebecca Echols of Va.

Manson had a son, Frederick GLASS b. 1821 married Martha R.S.Edwards 19 Sept. 1839 Henry Co. Ga. She is the daughter of Littleberry B. Edwards (see will of William Edwards) & Sally Whitsell (see will of George Whitsell) of Oglethorpe Co. Ga.

Elijah GLASS son of Frederick & Martha was born 1860 and died 21 April 1935 and is buried in the Anderson cemetery on Blanton Mill Rd. in Pike Co. Ga. He married Sally Ogletree, daughter of Abegnego Ogletree of Spalding Co. Ga.
