Mr. Cannafax was a well known Pike County farmer who has been retired for several years. He was a life long resident of Pike County and was a member of the Zebulon Methodist Church where he attended the Men's Bible Class.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Zebulon Methodist Church with Rev. Thomas C. LANFORD and the Rev. Gerald NOFFSINGER officiating. Burial was in the Ebenezer Methodist Church Cemetery with Haisten Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Cannafax is survived by two sons, J. G. Cannafax and J. Marvin Cannafax both of Zebulon, one brother C. O. Cannafax, one sister Mrs. J. A. GORDY of Zebulon, seven grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren.
