QUILTS BY BECCA

This is the very first quilt that I made!
The quilt has nine patch blocks set on point with machine
appliqued cats in between. It was machine pieced and
hand quilted for my daughter Petra.

This is the quilt I made for my son Bryce.
With my Mother-in-laws help, I was able to have it done just
in time to come home from the hospital! It has three kites
flying over a field and was all machine appliqued. I hand
quilted this one as well, but my Mother-in-law was kind enough
to put the binding on after I went into labor!

Here I am!
I was lucky enough to take a class in machine applique and
this is the result! After finishing the applique, I deceided
that the background looked too white and added some free
motion embroidery. This quilt was entirely machine pieced
and quilted. Currently the quilt is waiting for it's mate,
a trapunto heart with the same border fabric.

This is my Lonestar quilt top.
It is the result of a class I took in February. I really enjoyed
the class and one day I will do the quilting on this top!

This is my Huntergreen and Burgandy quilt.
It is a result of a block swap I did with Tina McClain.

Here are a couple pictures of a signature block
that I traded with InspirationQuilters group.
The block was designed by Barbara Bowman ("Babs")
and is called Inspiration Heart Signature Block.
When sashed the purple squares will make a cross.
The verse quoted is "Greater love has no one than
this, that he lay down his life for his friends."
John 15:13 I will post the picture when I get all
the blocks peiced.
