The honor of your presence is requested at the marriage and handfasting of Kenneth John Jagneaux and Valerie Esther Pollen October 31, 1998.

On October 31, 1999, we were united in marriage through the Wiccan Handfasting Ceremony & the Ceremony of the Roses which binds us together through all lifetimes. Additionally, we chose to marry under Louisiana's Covenant Marriage Act which makes divorce difficult to obtain and mandates marriage counseling in the event a marriage falls on hard times.

Dixie prepares the Altar for the Handfasting

Dr. William Pollen leads his daughter, Valerie, to the Altar

Vickie blesses the Bride & Groom & those assembled with her wand. Vickie, one of the 3 High Priestesses who performed the ceremony, flew to Louisiana from Indiana for the occasion.

Dixie and Vickie look on as Edna begins the ceremony.

Dixie binds the Bride and Groom together by the wrists completing the actual Handfasting.

The wedding cake was black & silver in keeping with the wedding colors.

The Bride & Groom dance together for the first time as husband and wife. The wedding song was "From This Moment On" by Shania Twain & Bryan White
