I am descended from father, Francis Joseph Keller, of Columbus, Ohio and Detroit area, Mich., the son of Thomas Benton Keller and Susan O'Loan, of Columbus, Ohio andprior to his marriage, during the Civil War worked on a plantation for George Keller at Hahnville, La., he is said to be the son of Philip Keller and Julia Ann Brendel, of 1820, 1830, 840 U.S. Census at Knox Co., Ohio, Jackson Twp. I have her remarriage and death date BUT Philip Keller was said to have been killed by Indians during Indian Removal at a place called, Monroe circa 1842. I have been looking since 1938 for these people, esp cially the death of Philip. He had more boys than girls.The girls were Martha Keller and Margaret Keller Mosholder from around Fallsburg, Ohio. Martha died at Columbus, Ohio and is buried in the Fallsburg Ohio cemetery by Thomas Benton Keller.Thomas Bento Keller named his children George, Francis Joseph,Mary, Margaret, Julia Ann,Alice. How do I post to find our Family Bible and History. We were orphaned at an early age in 1940,and I just found out that all our family records were in the hands of an Aunt of ours when she married her 3rd husband and then she died.And he would not turn over the trunk that held all these records, How does someone find out what happen too them,or how too obtain them from his last wife. I regret I don't know where the Dick family bible is but I do have copies of letters written from Canada back to Bathgate Scotland by JOHN DICK after his arrival to Canada in 1821 aboard the David of London. It is in Swedish and probably belonged to Annie Rebecka Lundberg from Sodra Ljunga, and Kanna area of Sunnerbo, Kronobergs district of Smaland, Southern Sweden near town of Lj ngby, Sweden. I will share its contents with other family Lundbergs. Our people lived in Torup area of Province of Halland, South Sweden. My ggrandfather was Karl Gustaf Lundberg of Torup. Would like to just say what a great job you have been doing on these archives. Keep up the good work. I just started my Family Tree, but have hit a few stumbling blocks. My grandmother Annie Lee West Brown Armes who died September 29, 1998 could never ocate the orphange that had put her up for adoption. Her mother died when she was 3 and she never knew her. My grandfather Harvey Alexander Brown died in Fort Worth, Texas at 107 Rhome Hotel I never knew him. He died October 8, 1957. He was borned in E ath County, Texas. His mother's maiden name was Molly Davenport who was born in Indiana. My grandmother Annie Lee West was born February 16, 1908 in Palo Pinto. Her real mother's name was Louisa Clark. Her real dad's name was John Russell West from Okla oma. If anyone has any other information they could send to me it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Ruth was from Little Compton, RI, Cook, son of James returned to Little Compton to settle his father's estate from Shrewsbury, N.J. He was read out of meeting for marry ng Ruth who was not a Quaker. I am drawn emotionally and physically to anything about Conecuh County, because my gr-gr-gr-grandfather migrated there from Georgia and before that, South Carolina. His son, Andrew Caldwell probably married there and it is highly possibly that his marria e record was burned. He married Elizabeth Jane McNeil (McNeel). Sometime before 1850, they moved to Butler, Alabama and onto Arkansas; they finally settled in Bienville Parish, Louisiana, where he died in 1879. This is a great site -- much better than any I have seen.
