This is my first attempt at creating a web page and continually remains under construction. All of the bullets, canister shot, and buttons were “dug” by the writer that includes two Breast Plates and Rosette in the Plates Section, also, the bayonet and much of the small items in the Misc. Section. These came from the Virginia Civil War Battlefields of Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania Courthouse, and Chancellorsville.

WOODWORKINGI normally would have just my main hobby of civil war relics on this page but could not disregard my wife’s recently discovered hobby of working with wood. Shortly after we moved into our new house located on over four acres of Virginia hardwood forest she discovered that she enjoyed working with wood. This is in addition to her fondness for Counted Cross Stitching and Crocheting. She was also an expert fine weaver at one time when her eyes could take the strain inherent in that type of endeavor. Photography, but not digital, is another pursuit of hers. I guess all those characteristics make up for her dislike of computers and high technology stuff of which I kind of enjoy.
