CH. EL ASHRAF SIYAH KHAN DEL GRAN PAMIR

Sire: SBIS It Int Ch Khandhu Echo Australis

Dam: Ch Brunhilde del Gran Pamir

Ashraf (also called Dodo) is known by his powerful gait and attitude at shows. He has been called "the Flying Afghan", and we have to say it's true. He's the only one Echo's Champion son and we have been the only kennel to use this extraordinary dog with his extraordinary pedigree. Echo's pedigree - some of the greatest Afs in the history of the breed were there - and movement - that faboulous movement - attracted immediately us to him. In Italy there weren't dog with that incomparable gait and movement... Since his first shows Dodo got several 1st place and was recognized by International judges. He went winning his first Specialty Best In Show at the age of two, handled by our friend Roberto Bongiovanni of Xenos Kennel (see Links). So young to beat one of the most well known Afghans in Europe and in the world as well, but he did! Judge was the Swedish Mr Magnus Hagstedt. Then Dodo also won SBIS at 1st Italian Technical Club Specialty with 198/200 pointscore under deceased breeder Attilio Carlesso. We never had the opportunity to show him abroad and try to get the two foreign Cacib for the International title. Anyhow a dog must be recognized by his quality and not by his Championship titles. Dodo got many Cacib, Breed and Group wins with an All Breeds BIS at his credit.

We are especially proud of Ashraf's kids who are doing so well in the show rings. He sired 6 litters and 5 of his sons are near Champions and many others are collecting several Cac or are trying to get the Field Champion title. See Our Dogs or Upcomingstars.

Dodo is now temporanly retired from Shows and he will be maybe shown at selected specialties.
