ADMINISTRATION OF
HERITAGE TRUST FUNDS

HOW IT WORKS
Administration of projects is carried out by the Development Committee of the Heritage Trust. They are volunteers with preservation and restoration experience, and a love for our built environment. The Development Committee screens applications and makes recommendations to the Heritage Trust Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for selecting projects for funding.

OPERATING PROCEDURE

PROCESS

 
Heritage Trust provides applications upon request.

Applicant completes the appropriate application.

Loan Committee review application.

Loan Committee does a credit check on property owner (applicant).

Loan Committee recommends project to Heritage Trust Board of Directors.

Notification is made to applicant (property owner).

INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS
The Heritage Trust offers not only financial assistance, but helps in determining other aspects of the project such as architectural and historical appropriateness to the particular structure. Residences and public buildings all qualify.

MONITORING OF PROJECTS
Restoration projects will be monitored by a Heritage Trust committee until completion of project. The Heritage Trust reserves the right to pay suppliers directly for materials, and pay any labor required other than the applicant's own labor.
