Who Am I?

Tell me about yourself.  Oh, really? You don't say!  My, goodness, that is so interesting!

Okay, my turn!

Let me tell you a little bit about me.

My real name is Alison.  I'm 39 years old, and I live in Baltimore, Maryland.

I've lived here for about 13 years or so, this time.  (I've moved around a lot.)

I moved back here when my father died, of cancer.

I was born and raised here, with the accent to boot... You haven't lived until you've heard a Baltimore accent!  We weren't allowed to speak in my family until we could leave the accent at the door...

You know, I gotta tell you, this is a really neat city to live... near.  I used to live in the city, but I got tired of hearing gunfire over in Druid Hill Park (which is pronounced "droodle park".  No lie.  I can prove it!)

In all fairness, and for all the fans of Baltimore that I have been able to offend, it really is a beautiful City.  The Harbor is wonderful; we even have our very own Hard Rock Cafe!  I have loved this city for many years, and will find it hard to leave. Sort of. In a way.  Like your Great Aunt Helen (we all have one; the name might be different!) that always pinched your cheek at Thanksgiving or Christmas (add your favorite holiday here) that when she finally went to her reward, you actually miss her! Why do we call it "The Final Reward"?  Oh, never mind. Another rant for another day...
