Whitee Starr's Place
Crater Lake

Crisp grass crunching underfoot,
A silent strool to natures nook.
Nestling quietly on the ground,
Another world opens all around.
Pausing slightly to catch some breath,
A view that snatches it from the chest.
Vibrant blue fills the eyes,
Which is water, which is sky?
Crater walls surround with grace,
The pure deep blue of waters face.
Air that smells crisp and clean.
Perfect crystal reflections gleam.
A soft breeze flows from the shore.
Ripples dance where it is no more.
Nature smiles bright and true.
Serving up a spectacular view.
