Epitaph

Thank you for visiting our memorial to our mom, grandma, great-grandma, and great-great grandma. She was very special to us and we'll miss her forever. I decided to share her with you, because she had so much love for all the people of the world and I have a firm belief that as long as she lives in memories, she will live on forever.

These poems of her's, are windows into her life. For many non-family members they seem cute, but to us, each and every one has a very special meaning of something we know. Some of us, some of her animals, some of her stories, some of her ceramic and craft animals and on and on and on. Her faith was very important to her, she has made sure that everyone of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren have had the oppertunity to know her Lord and Saviour as their own. So you see, she didn't just write cute little poems, she wrote her life as she lived it.

She put these stories into three books, one for each of her children to share with their children and so on. In these books are drawings and photographs that go along with these memories. She drew the drawings and even sometimes painted pictures too. We have a lot to remember her by and I hope you enjoy this brief part of her we have put here.

I have chosen this background because she loved flowers so much, if she were here now, she herself would have loved the margin of roses. In our front yard, we still tend a rose bush that has been there since grandma and grandpa bought this house back in the '40's. She moved into a "trailer house" as she called it, back in the seventies, right behind our house. She planted flowers everywhere so she could sit on her big front porch, which she had added, and be surrounded by her flowers. I can still go out into my backyard and see all the flowers, sometimes in the early summer mornings, I still expect to see her sitting up there drinking her morning coffee.

Please e-mail us and let us know how she has touched you. I'd have a guest book, but geobuilder doesn't have a guestbook that I could find and I'm not good enough at html coding yet.
