About Me

This picture was from a recent trip to Germany, just outside of Kropp. I had some ancestors that were married here.
My name is Tom Stombaugh. I am originally from Sioux Falls, SD, and have lived there most of my life. I graduated from O'Gorman High School in May of 1971. I later graduated from Dakota State College, now Dakota State University, in Madison, SD in May of 1975, having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, with a double major in mathematics and music. I completed one years work towards a Master's degree in mathematics at the University of South Dakota, in Vermillion, SD.

I was married to Rene Peterson in October of 1980. We both continued on with our education by attending National College, now National American University, in Sioux Falls, SD.
