JIM (CRASH) PUNTENNEY

Left Picture: Uncle Jim and Hanna standing next to his race car. There were eight cars in the contest on May 30. Jim Puntenney set a new track record for six rolls in one round. Jim rolled for the first time ever last October (Evergreen Speedway), then his second time at the Seattle Kingdom Monster Truck show on January 9th, and then his third time on May 30th . Jim will be appearing at the Monroe Evergreen State Fair on August 27, 2000th. At Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Washington a veteran, Curt Mantegna of Roy, who rolled twice in the first round and rolled three times in the second round was defeated by Jim who rolled six times in one roll setting the track record. His car was too smashed up to appear in the second round, but his rolls were enough to take first place. Good thing the car only cost $10.00.
