ALLEGHNEY RESERVOIR
(KINZUA DAM)

Breath taking view over looking the Alleghney Reservoir, from Rim Rock

The reservoir is fairly deep due to the high hills and the valley that contains the lake

The dam holding back miles of water is also visible from Rim Rock, which is several miles away

A picture of one of the bays on the lake. Look close and you can see where the highway goes across the bay

The view from the road leading to the dam, is just as breathtaking as the views from Rim Rock

Still one more scene while making the drive up the highway to the dam

Here you are able to see the dam with the hills in the background. It is close to fall the leaves are just turning colors

Standing near the dam, looking back up the lake gives you a good idea how large it is.

As the sun dips below the hills, you will realize why I consider this one of my favorite places to visit.
