Winter's Wonderland
WINTER'S STORIES UNTOLD
We all look at a picture differently,
others see something that we don't see.
As I gaze at the picture here above,
I think of a friend and devoted love.
A cabin so cozy with soft glowing light,
a special place to take you out of the night.
A cup of hot chocolate is your cup of tea,
with no one around just you and me.
As the fireplace warms you takes away your chills,
We sit and listen to the wind in the hills.
The sparkle in your eyes from the flickering flame,
puts the stars in the heaven all to shame.
In front of the fire upon the rug,
it would give me great pleasure to give you a hug.
To hold you tenderly in my arms,
to warm and protect you and keep you from harm.
So when the weather is harsh and you need a friend,
I will always be here for you right to the end.
