If you are doing family genealogy in the Wanette area you may contact us for any surname search as we have collected many newspaper and book articles, obituaries, cemetery, census records and various other records for people who lived in the Wanette area over the past 100 years.

Your ancestor may be listed on our site but since there is no search engine on this site at this time, you may miss the information.

There are many records that are not posted on this site.  As time permits they are being included.  Keep checking back with us for additions and revisions.  New information is coming in on a daily basis.

There is no charge for look-ups but if you do find useful information to your research, the Wanette Cemetery Chapel committee is accepting donations for building a chapel at the cemetery site.  You may make a donation in the name of your ancestor(s) who resided in Wanette and perhaps are buried there now.  You may send your donation to the below address:
