More About this Motto

There are two important ways one might be hungry: in a physical sense, and also in a spiritual sense.

We do like to cook and entertain. It brings us much joy to bless others, and to provide nutritious and tasty (especially tasty!!) food to friends.

But, as Jesus (Yeshua) told a woman near a well in Samaria, He had a type of water she could drink which would satisfy her thirst once and for all.  Incredible!  The thirst for relationship is strong in people, and stems from a desire for a reconciled relationship with G-d.  This thirst for relationship with G-d is what Yeshua was referring to.

You, too, can be satisfied and reconciled to Abba (not just "Father", but "Daddy!"  Let's face it, we both know we are incapable of working our ways up to God's level, no matter how hard we try. He is just too holy for that.  It takes the Messiah's sacrifice to do this, and we have conditions to fulfill to appropriate it for ourselves.

It takes a commitment to follow Him, accepting and acting on your belief that Jesus is the Messiah - the Christ.  Then, "the air is cleared" between G-d and ourselves. And living a changed life is now possible, through Him and in Him - from the inside out!

Please contact us, Congregation Beth Yeshua, or a Bible-believing congregation near you for more information if you have questions on this.  After all, it is an extremely important decision, and as the commercial says,

Don't Bonk!

Our personal and professional experience has shown us that when a person elects to follow G-d's direction, great things happen. The "miracle" may be quick or slow (usually more slow, as this builds more character), but it happens!  We are commited to helping people apply G-d's Truth to their lives.  (Come over, and we'll feed you in a physical sense, too.)

May G-d bless you in your search for Him!
