Kwanna's Page

Hi! I'm originally from the state of Missouri. I grew up in Belton, south of Kansas City and on the Kansas/Missouri line. I went to Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri and graduated with a BA in Psychology and a minor in music. My main instrument is the trombone. I do, however, play several instuments (mainly brass).

I have so many interests! Some of the things I like the most are: shooting hoops (to relieve stress), music, scrapbooking, genealogy, computers, surfing the net (you should see my bookmark files), and basket weaving. I am also getting ready to homeschool Tank.

My family and I are members of New Life Baptist Church. I take pride in my work. I am an administrative assistant at the Nevada Baptist Convention in Reno, Nevada.

My favorites TV shows, movies, and celebrities are as follows:
American Idol, Mr. Holland's Opus, Pelican Brief, Legally Blonde (I & II), Point of Grace, Michael W. Smith, Julia Roberts, Tom Hanks, Denzel Washington, and Matthew Perry.

I created and maintain Surviving Together. This site is for survivors of abuse: women, men, and teens; survivors and non-offending parents and partners. It is an extensive site with an e-mail support group, chat support group, poetry, resources, and much more.
