Words to Touch Your Heart

Valentine

If there were no words
No way to speak
I would still hear you
If there were no tears
No way to feel inside
I'd still feel for you

And even if the sun refused to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart until the end of time
You're all I need, My love, my valentine

All of my life
I have been waiting for you
All you give to me
You've opened my eyes
And shown me how to love unselfishly

I've dreamed of this a thousand times before
But in my dreams I couldn't love you more
I will give you my heart
Until the end of time
You're all I need, my love, my valentine

And even if the sun refused to shine
Even if romance ran out of rhyme
You would still have my heart until the end of time
You're all I need, My love, my valentine

We Are the Perfect Pair, You and I

We have a way
of understanding each other
when no one else understands
a single word we're saying,
or where our hearts lie.

With you, I can be myself,
sharing my feelings and my dreams
unafraid.

Thank you for believing in me
and for seeing beyond
what others see.

Our friendship
is truly one of a kind.

The Voice Inside My Heart

I am afraid, I am afraid for my voice to you
are just words that you read.
Afraid, for I am the one who writes these words.
Will not be accepted for the person he is,
In fear, that when we meet...you will be overcome
with disapointment. And I, rejection.
For this voice of words are a part of my heart,
my body, my spirit, my soul.

For I am not just words that you read. I am a person,
I have thoughts, I have feelings, I have emotions.
I am someone just like you, who has a voice, I can only
hear with words.

I have loved and been loved. I have hurt and been hurt.
But your voice of words do not fear me. Those words
give me faith, where a voice with words I cannot see
but only hear, has deluded my senses.

Your words are my voice, and my voice your words.
For when I cannot speak, I write. So you may see
my words and understand.....

The voice inside my heart.

Computer Prayer

Every night I lie in bed this little prayer inside my head:
God bless my mom and daddy, and bless my little boy.
And take care of my husband; he brings me so much joy.
And God there's just one more thing I wish that you would do.
If you don't mind me asking, just bless my puter too??
Now I know that it's not normal to bless a small machine.
But listen just a second, and I'll try to explain...
You see, that little metal box holds more than odds and ends.
Inside those small components rest a hundred loving friends.
Some, it's true, I've never seen and most I've never met.
We've never shaken hands or ever truly hugged, and yet...
I know for sure they love me by the kindnesses they give,
And this little scrap of metal is how I get to where they live.
By faith is how I know them, much the same as I know you.
I share in what life brings them, so if its ok with you...
Just take an extra minute from your duties up above
To bless this little hunk of steel that's filled with so much love.

Sonnet 29

When in disgrace with fortune and men's eyes
I all alone beweep my outcast state,
And trouble deaf heaven with my bootless cries,
And look upon myself and curse my fate,
Wishing me like to one more rich in hope,
Featured like him, like him with friends possessed,
Desiring this man's art, and that man's scope,
With what I most enjoy contented least;
Yet in these thoughts myself almost despising,
Haply I think on thee--and then my state,
Like to the lark at break of day arising
From sullen earth, sings sweet hymns at heaven's gate;
For thy sweet love remembered, such wealth brings
That then I scorn to change my state with kings.

Excerpt from As You Like It

All the world's a stage
And all the men and women merely players.
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts...
