GENEALOGY HOME

Hello, fellow researchers, thanks for dropping in.

I am currently researching the following four family lines. I have information about the ancestors of my parents, but I have had a much harder time finding information about my husband's ancestors and do not have links for those lines as yet.

I hope to add some interesting tidbits as I find them. Such as my mother's 4th Great-grandmother, who was a cousin to Ceasar Rodney, signer of the Declaration of Independence and Delaware's favorite son.

I am also including links to my other pages, as well.

The Garrison's on my grandfather's side can be traced to the 1800's Ohio. They include the Glotfelty/Glattfelter line, which can be traced back to 1419 Holland. My grandmother's side includes Wills, Hughes, Rodney and Daggs. The Ingraham/Ingram's have been traced to the 1600's, mostly in Virginia and West Virginia. It includes the Van Deursen/Van Dusen's, which can be traced to 1500 Holland. It includes some descendants of William White of the Mayflower.

The Dykshoorn's have been traced to 1567 Holland. Jack Dykxhoorn has a wonderful site with lots of information. It includes several different spellings of the name. The Adler line is a work in progress...It also includes descendants of William White of the Mayflower. I believe there may be a connection to Belle Starr here also.

The Westmoreland Recorder published an 8 x 11 pamplet in 1899. It is full of the citizens, businesses and organizations to be found there at that time. There are some marriages, deaths and pictures in this also. This pamplet was not copyrighted. I am still putting information online from this.
