Mr. and Mrs. John J. Andersen of Capitola Road, Danbury, announce the engagement of their daughter, Shauna Leigh Andersen, to Gavin C. Jones, son of Joyce and Ted Ayres of Columbus, Ohio.
The future bride graduated from Danbury High School and from Saint Martin's University in Lacey, Wash., with an M.B.A. in marketing. She served in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at McChord Air Force Base in Washington.
She is a technical writer and editor at Booz Allen Hamilton in San Antonio, Texas.
The future bridegroom graduated from Turlock High School in Turlock, Calif. He retired from the U.S. Air Force, stationed at McChord.
He is a regional sales manager for World Marketing Co. in San Antonio.
An October wedding is planned.
