THE CHURCH

I believe that I will always see
A church that means so much to me
Where prayers and praises will always be
That's where God gives the victory.

The time in church is not too much
That's where I get the Master's touch
His touch is gentle and Oh so sweet
Try us , you'll like us, the friends you meet.

So Valley View, this must be the place
No place like this, a smile on Dewey's face
Visitors welcome, the people will greet
Members expected, and all in for a treat.

         Anne's Kitchen

I like my Anne's cooking
Out of this world you know it
Her cornbread can't be beaten
And one look at my waistline will showit.

I set at my table and wonder
My goodness, I said, what's this
Why Andy, they're biscuits, my mixture
The thumps this morning you'll miss.

Then standing in the kitchen
With a twinkle in her eye
Not making cornbread or biscuits
But wow,my favorite, chicken pot pie.

As I was standing by the table
The rattling of pots and pans
I thought to myself and amazed
What a talent God put in her hands.
