Mix and store in airtight containers. I save 'store bought' spice jars to use.
These mixes are nice to have on hand and you can adjust to your own taste.

Store in a shaker top jar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cardamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
Makes scant 2/3 cup
Can be sprinkled on toast, french toast, waffles, pancakes, oatmeal.
I sprinkle this on sweet muffins, such as banana or blueberry before baking.

Pumpkin-Pie Spice
1/4 cup ground cinnamon
1 TBSP ground ginger
1 tsp ground allspice
1 tsp ground cloves
Makes scant 1/2 cup
Add 1 tbsp per pie to pumpkin pie filling
Stir 1 tsp into 2 cups applesauce, Stir 1 tsp into 2 cups softened vanilla ice cream and serve over warm fruit pies or gingerbread.

2 1/2 TBSP Paprika
2 TBSP salt
2 TBSP garlic powder
1 TBSP black pepper
1 TBSP onion powder
1 TBSP cayenne pepper
1 TBSP dried oregano
1 TBSP dried thyme
Combine all ingredients thoroughly
Makes 2/3 cup

Taco Seasoning
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp paprika
1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
2 tsp dried parsley flakes
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried onion flakes
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp corn starch (optional)
I triple this recipe, put in airtight jar, and keep in fridge.
2 1/2 TBSP=1 'store bought' package

Curry Blend
2 TBSP ground cumin
4 tsp ground coriander
4 tsp powdered mustard
2 TBSP ground tumeric
1 tsp each ground allspice, cayenne pepper,
ground cinnamon, ground ginger
Makes about 1/2 cup
In recipes calling for curry powder, use in same amts.
Can be sprinkled over poultry before baking.
Use to season filling for deviled eggs.
