The Fairy Parade

Fairy Day Schedule for Saturday
Fairy Day Schedule for Sunday

The long-awaited mushroom fairy furniture has finally arrived! There are little mushroom tables with stools on a leaf rug; fairy-sized stoves, refrigerators, and dressers. A fairy bedroom wouldn't be complete without a fairy bed, bedside lamp and tiny dresser. In the fairy living room, a sofa, end chairs, and tiny mushroom lamp on a stump table surround a darling little pot-bellied stove. The fairy paper dolls are also available now.

Everyone knows that much of the success of a garden depends on the good will of the garden fairies.  They can be very helpful, or cause great mischief.  So, it is to our benefit to cultivate their friendship, and to learn as much about them as we can.  Therefore, we have devoted a special event to provide a window into “Fairyland”.  We hope you will join us for this very special time.

Visit our expanded Enchanted Forest, where smiling trees look upon you as you walk through the flowers, and where fairies dance. We've added fantastic fairy stone cottages and other fairy decor.  Go on a Fairy Hunt throughout the gardens. All those who complete the Fairy Hunt correctly will receive a prize.

Each day, we will have a Fairy Parade, so wear your fairy finery. Parents will want to bring their cameras!

So, if you “believe” we invite you to attend the festivities.  There will be Fairy tales, fairy lore and new fairy crafts for you to make.  Throughout the day, there will be talks and demonstrations on fairy gardens, fairy plants, and fairy accessories.  We'll show you how to make a container fairy garden, then you can make your own for a fee using plants that both you and the fairies will love.

We'll have a Fairy Tea, with some of the fairies' favorite foods. They love cake, strawberries, mushrooms, and jasmine tea. Of course, there's Nectar Punch as well!

Fairy Day at Carolee's Herb Farm

Visit our entirely new Fairyland areas in the Barn Gift Shop. It's a magical place, filled with a fabulous fairy castle, fences, gates and garden items. There's new fairy decor and vignettes. Of course, we will have a wonderful selection of fairies, including several new styles. They come in various sizes, and are perfect to place in a teacup, on a shelf, or in the arms of a favorite grandchild! Some are made for outdoor use as well. Look for all kinds of fairy-related items for home and garden.  You’ll find fairy houses, books, lamps, candleholders, windchimes, statutes, rain gauges, ornaments, plaques, pillows, and more.  We have a limited number of the Cecily Mary Barker collector’s teacup and saucers, as well as CMB plates, trays, tins and clocks. And, we have lovely “display baskets” for your fairy collection.

Look for the darling "fairy house" teapots and cookie jars, too! Our tiny fairy music boxes and lunch boxes are delightful. And, there's a new line of totable fairy rooms complete with fairy.

We also have lots of fairy garden furniture, and new bridges to make your fairy landscape complete. There's new furniture and tiny additions for fairy gardens, as well as lots of new miniature fairy plants.

We’ve searched high and low for all things “fairy”.  You’ll be dazzled and enchanted with our selection, and our new displays.

Please note that the hours for Fairy Day are 10-4 on Saturday, and 1-4 on Sunday.  Please call to make a reservation 24 hours in advance, so the Fairy Godmother will bake enough fairy cakes. Children must be accompanied by an adult. There is no charge for this event, but we do ask that you make a reservation.

We welcome all who BELIEVE!
