Author Susan Wittig Albert will visit!

Award-winning, New York Times best-selling author, Susan Wittig Albert will be giving a presentation and book signing at Carolee's Herb Farm on Sunday afternoon, April 26, 2009 at 1:00.

Ms. Albert, famous for her herbal mystery series featuring sleuth, China Bayles will unveil her new book, Wormwood. Her informative presentation will be "The Shakers and Their Herbs". Susan has also written a mystery series be based around the life of childrens'author Beatrix Potter. She has done extensive research in England for this new series. In addition, she and her husband collaborate on a Victorian mystery series under the pseudonym "Robin Paige".

The event will include Susan's presentation, a book signing, a social period, door prizes, and a complimentary tea featurin Shaker recipes. Seating is limited, so do not hesitate to make a reservation. The fee for the event is $20.

The Barn Gift Shop will open all day, with extended hours for this event, so attendees may shop before or after the presentation. We will have a good supply of the author's books, but if you would like to reserve a hardback copy of Wormwood, for $23.95 e-mail or call the farm, and we will set one aside for you. We will also be happy to try to have other titles on hand, if you request them.
