SPORTS EDITION
Jenni started out in sports trying out for an indoor soccer team.  She was in fourth grade and had fun with it.  Jenni must not have 'loved' it, as it was a one time shot.  I personally think that the girls on the team did most of the work-and Jenni said "that's enough of that!"

In 7th and 8th grade, Jenni enjoyed volleyball and basketball.
Jenni found her true love in sports to be in running.  She took home many medals and trophies for her great one mile performances during 7th and 8th grade track season.
1995-8th Grade One Mile Run.....1997 a Sophomore Track Member
This love for running led Jenni to the Girl's Cross-Country team her Sophomore year.
This picture of Jenni, Lindsay, Bill, and  me was taken at the Lisle Sectional meet in November, 1997.  By this time, Lindsay was a Freshman member of the team.  Both of my girls ran a very nice race that day.
Senior year found Jenni striving yet for another challenge.  Cheerleading!!
At the time of the accident, Jenni was a captain of the Girl's Cross-Country team, along with another girl.  Lindsay was also a Sophomore member of the team.  Here is the team photo of those who bravely carried on as Lindsay struggled to a comeback, and Jenni was ever present in spirit.
This page was very difficult to do, many tears accompany it. I just want to show how important high school sports are to our children; our hopeful future. I am so thankful my girls choose sports instead of other avenues.  Jenni is still, and I hope always, looked up to as a positive role model.

Jenni had many friends on the squad who persuaded her to try out for the basketball season, when she
fortunate enough to perform at any basketball games.  Our high school participates in a huge local parade
just before school begins.  It was at this parade that a 4 year old boy captured this priceless photo of
Jenni in her uniform...the ONLY picture we have of her in a cheerleading uniform...and as usual...having a great time.
I love this!!!!
was not running track or cross country.  She was so proud to have made the squad, but  was not
