| Yes, it may sound strange, but that is how I view my life sometimes. Four years closer to being with Jenni. And it is also so strange now how I relate to when things happened, before Jenni died, or after Jenni died. This is not uncommon for bereaved parents to do. We have made it through another year without Jenni physically in our lives. In my heart she lives on forever. I still have moments when I still cannot believe she is gone. I have good friends, some of whom I have never met, who help to keep Jenni's spirit alive. I cannot thank them enough for their sincereness and comforting words that help me through these difficult anniversaries. Lindsay continues to move on and make her mark in this world. Steps in her life that no one can compare now to her sister's steps. I think this is important to Lindsay and I am so very proud of her strength and courage. |
