"TWITCH has given me joy and sorrow,  equal in measure."

Twitch was chosen when six days of age, and remained my beloved companion until extremely aged.  Named in reference to the kinetic term "fast twitch/slow twitch" muscles (which determine athleticism), his registered name reflected his gentle character in honor of the immortal Russian poet and writer.  I was blessed to enjoy this sagacious hound, whose presence brought me peace and contentment.  He has been the measure for excellence in health and breed character, and was the catalyst for my commitment to the Borzoi breed.

Twitch finished with Group placements.  He obtained one CD leg at ten years of age.  He sired seven Champions and two C.D.'s from two litters.  He was featured in unsolicited  commercials: for Ralph Lauren's Interlude Cologne (aired in 1985-1986 in Japan), and with son Cappy  for the B.C. Lotteries.
