Thinking of Brandon
His seat is empty, our heart's are sad,
But he's in Heaven- this makes us glad.
It's only the clay that we laid away;
His soul lives on in eternal day.
Although his face is seen no more,
His soul now rests on yonder shore.
I know his form so dear we miss,
But he's enjoying eternal bliss.
We still cannot quite understand
Why God took Brandon from our band,
But we know God had full control
When his name was written on heaven's roll.
Let's strive together to reach that shore
Where we'll meet Brandon to part no more!

Beyond the glorious sunset
Somewhere beyond the blue;
Somewhere in God's blest keeping
Dear Brandon waits for you
You need not grieve his leaving
He's only gone before;
And Heaven's all the richer
Since he's inside the door.
He dwells where all is splendor
In glorious, pure delight!
Behold his endless bliss in Heaven
So everything's all right!
