When I was a kid I looked forward to going to the Santa Cruz Beach and Boardwalk and riding the roller coaster, but as I got older it was mainly to tan.
When I was a teenager, I think I had more fun going to Lexington Dam. As soon as I got my license I was headed there just about every weekend. There are some really cool spots there around the dam that you can sunbathe, and other spots that were more secluded and private.
Now that I am older, I don't go to the beach (even though it is only 2 miles away) or to the lake. My figure isn't quite what it used to be and I don't think anyone wants to see me in a bathing suit, heehee!
But, it is still my favorite season, I love the warm weather and San Diego is a great place to live for great weather.
