Namesake: His name was Sparky when we got him, which suited him. BUT Kyle wanted to change the spelling a bit. So we changed it to SPARC-E. Sun Microsystems makes a workstation known as a SPARC station. Kyle used these in college a lot and thought it would be a cute name that all his computer geek (pardon me...engineer....hehehehe) friends would find funny! (Its still pronounce the same way though. sparky)

Temperment: Perky most of the time, but sleep a lot, as does Sparc-e.
Namesake: The breeder we got her from had originally intended to keep her and had named her Daisy. We WERE going to change the name to Linux, but we all decided (Kyle included) that Daisy fit her better. So her name now is Daisy Mae.
We got Daisy from a breeder in the Victoria, TX area.
