I've been a crafter for as long as I can remember. I started with sewing clothes, then added painting ceramics, candle and soap making, counted cross stitch and rubber stamps. Four years ago, I found quilting thru a small quilt shop in our town. Small quilt items are my passion tho I still do all the other crafts also. You can see a couple pics of my recent work above.
Kids love doing crafts - it makes a great family fun day - especially when the weather is bad and they can't play outside. It doesn't even have to be anything fancy - a frame made out of popsicle sticks and the kids have a ball. There are so many ideas out there - just do a quick search on the internet for kids crafts and you're set. Pretty soon the kids will be telling you "today's craft day".
