Welcome to Pooh’s Room

Several years ago I discovered I loved Winnie the Pooh. My husband vows that he has always loved Pooh. We love his gentle and sweet ways of approaching a sometimes mind-boggling world. About the time I realized I adored Pooh, my mom bought me a stuffed Pooh Bear. Yes, I was 26 at the time, but you are never too old to have a Pooh Bear.

Our Pooh Bear, also known as “The Boy” has had quite a few adventures since joining our little family and our intent is to share a few of those via photographs. And one day Emily will be able to add her two cents as well about Pooh. Right now she is content merely to gnaw on his nose while he sighs softly to himself, says, “Oh bother,” -- and thinks about “hunny”.

I’m at the beach!

Not too long ago the Boy got to play in the sand at Long Beach, Washington. Are there sand woozles out here? Taken September 1999.

’Allo Mates!

We finally got a picture of the Boy at the London Bridge in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Yes, that really is the London Bridge -- the one used prior to the bridge currently in London, England. Taken August 1999.

No, I’m not jumping in

There is quite a view of Mt. St. Helens if you travel around to the Spirit Lake side of the volcano. We stood there and watched the steam rise from the crater. The Boy was rather impressed... and thankful no heffalumps were around. Taken September 1999.

Heeelllppp!

The Boy got excited at one point just as we were descending the viewpoint at Mt. St. Helens. He thought he smelled “hunny” and whoosh! He blew right out of my hands. Can you see where he landed? Taken September 1999.

Hmmmm

It began innocently enough with Pooh greeting our newest addition. Taken November 2000.

First she went for his nose, then he got closer and closer... what a pair. *g*

<We do hope you will return soon. “The Boy” is always having an adventure, whether it is climbing a Joshua tree to search for hunny, making a snowman in the nearby Spring Mountains or even taking a day trip to hunt for woozles and heffalumps. Ta ta for now!
