As of September 1999:
Just for you I am sitting at home thinking about what makes me who I am...
and have decided that it is thee upbringing of my parents
and the friendships that I have formed thruout my lifetime of 38 years.
I'm not too sure where this came from below;  but it does show the true value of friendships and I agree 100% on what a friend is and what a "real" friend is.
I always try to be that REAL friend to all I know.

A friend can stand by you when you are right, but  a real friend will stand by you even when you are wrong.

A friend identifies himself when he calls.
A real friend doesn't  have to.

A friend opens a conversation with a full new  bulletin on his life.
A real friend says, "What's new with you?"

A friend thinks the problems you whine about are recent.
A real friend says, "You've been whining about the same thing for 14  years.
Get  off your duff and do something about it."

A real friend has shoulders soggy from your tears.

A friend doesn't know your parents' first  names.

Below are some of my favorite quotes that help me to get by each day... their are plenty more and I will add them as I think of them. But  for now these are the ones I can remember and have used in my everyday life recently.
