ALMOND - Mary Ann ALMOND (1820-1861). Married William COCKITT (1815-?) at Manchester Cathedral on 13 Jul 1845. Buried at Siddington, Cheshire.

BAILIFF - Margaret BAILIFF (c1815-1845), first wife of Alan COCKITT (1810-1872). Daughter of Betty BAILIFF of Chester.

BLACKBURN - Esther BLACKBURN (b1822) daughter of Thomas and Alice BLACKBURN of Goosnargh married Daniel COCKITT (1819-1852) at Goosnargh on 6 August 1843. She married William ROTHWELL at Goosnargh on 20 January 1853.

BOWER(S) - George COCKITT (1808-1843) married Elizabeth BOWER at St John's Manchester on 20 July 1829. Her father was shown as Thomas BOWERS when she married James WALKER  at St Michael's, Macclesfield on 9 September 1846.

BOWERS - Louisa COCKITT (b1846), the daughter of William COCKITT and Mary Ann ALMOND married Edward BOWERS, a Capesthorne gardenman, at Prestbury in 1871. As Louisa BOWERS she was her father's housekeeper at Capesthorne Hall.

BOWYER - Alice BOWYER (1882-1947), the daughter of Charles & Margaret BOWYER married Charles Rathbone COCKITT (1877-1930).

DOWNES - Elizabeth DOWNES married Charles COCKITT (b1806) at SS Peter & Paul, Aston, on 26 April 1835 and died in Birmingham.

DUCE - Maria DUCE (nee NOBLE), the second wife of Charles COCKITT (b1806). Both were inmates of Birmingham Workhouse in 1881.

FOWLER - Thomas Boothby FOWLER, born around 1847, dead by 1891? Married Olive Augusta COCKITT at Chorlton-on-Medlock in 1870. Children - Lizzie Ann Boothby FOWLER (later MUIR) and Henshall FOWLER.

GRAY - Martha GRAY (c1777-1852), the daughter of Robert GRAY of Withington, married Charles COCKITT (1770-1835) at Astbury in 1795. She died at Ancoats and is buried at Siddington, Cheshire.

JACKSON - Jane JACKSON (c1837-?), the daughter of Thomas and Mary JACKSON, married James Rathbone COCKITT (1841-1870) at Manchester Cathedral in 1862. She was living in Chicago USA as Jane RATHBONE from at least 1866 to 1870, and may have perished in the Great Fire in 1871.

JOHNSON - Maria JOHNSON (c1813-1846), daughter of William JOHNSON, a watchmaker. Married Robert COCKITT (1800-?) at St Michael's, Macclesfield in 1838.

JOPLIN - Ellen Frances JOPLIN. Third wife of William COCKITT (1815-?). Living in Withington, Manchester in 1881 and 1891.

LAGON - Mary LAGON married George COCKITT (1808-1843) at Prestbury on 22 June 1825. She died in 1828 or 1829.

LUPTON - Olive LUPTON (1805-1871) the daughter of George LUPTON & Peggy (SMITH) of Burnley, married Alan COCKITT (1810-1872) at the Ebeneezer Baptist Chapel, Bacup, on 22 August 1846. She is buried at Philips Park Cemetery.
